The City of Edina/Braemar Golf Course is seeking applications for various part-time positions for the 2025 golf season. Hours vary by position and may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Available Positions:
- Guest Services
- Outside Services (3 positions: Oncourse Attendant, Players Services and Driving Range Attendant)
- Course & Grounds Maintenance
Guest Services:
Guest Services employees are responsible for providing a welcoming atmosphere to all golf course patrons in either the Championship Course Golf Shop or the Academy 9 and Driving Range Golf Shop. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, operating a POS system, answering phones, scheduling tee times, assisting with merchandise sales and maintaining building cleanliness. The hourly wage range is $14.45-$15.14.
Outside Services:
The On Course Attendant position is responsible for directing players to the tee and making sure they start on time, monitoring pace of play and assisting golfers on the course as needed. The hourly wage range is $13.47-$14.45.
The Player’s Services position is responsible for staging, cleaning and maintaining the fleet of golf carts for guests. The hourly wage range is $13.47-$14.45.
The Driving Range Attendant responsibilities include clearing buckets from driving range bays, washing driving range balls, driving the range picker, starting golfers on the Academy 9 course and perform light maintenance. The hourly wage range is $13.47-$14.45.
Maintenance (Grounds):
Grounds Maintenance staff safely operate a variety of tools, machinery and equipment to perform maintenance duties on the golf course and grounds. Staff perform daily maintenance tasks and golf course setup to include (but not limited to) mowing, raking bunkers and cleaning equipment. Additional work may include weed whipping and laying sod. The hourly wage range is $15.58-$17.80.
Qualifications vary by position, but these positions require excellent customer service, be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication skills and be self-motivated.

Physical Requirements: Daily, lift and carry supplies up to 10 lbs.
Outside Services
Physical Requirements: Daily, lift and carry of supplies up to 50 lbs. Assistive devices are available.
License Requirement: Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Course & Ground Maintenance
Physical Requirements: Daily, lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs. Assistive devices are available.
License Requirement: Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years of age.
Supplemental Information for Guest Services:
Candidate must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Approximately 15-40 hours per week. Position requires some lifting. Prior customer service work experience preferred.
Supplemental Information for Outside Services:
Candidate must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Approximately 10-40 hours per week. Position requires lifting 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Candidates with a driver’s license preferred (positions are frequently driving golf carts).
Supplemental Information Maintenance:
Candidate must be available to work weekends and holidays. Approximately 15-40 hours per week. Position requires lifting 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Candidates must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
