A thorough investigation of personal history, including but not limited to work history, education, military service, criminal history, etc. will be conducted on candidates referred to the Police Department. A polygraph examination is included as part of the background investigation. The background investigation will be completed before a conditional offer of employment is made.
Pre-employment Medical Examination:
Upon issuance of a conditional offer of employment, candidates must successfully complete a psychological and medical examination (including drug screen).
