Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Van Driver to transport patrons between locations using an established schedule and on special trips by dispatch or prior arrangement. The ideal candidate will have experience driving a bus, minibus, van, or similar passenger vehicle and working with elderly individuals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Class B California driver's license with passenger endorsements
- One year of experience driving a bus, minibus, van, or similar passenger vehicle
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments
- Excellent customer service skills
Benefits
This position offers a flexible schedule with no more than 20 hours per week and on-call substitutes. You will be represented by Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 1021.
Working Conditions
You will be required to wear uniforms, work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and respond as a Disaster Services Emergency Worker. This position is non-benefited, but you are entitled to five paid sick leave days per year.
