New Hire Salary Range: $29.37 - $32.67 per hour
Salary Range: $29.37 - $41.12 per hour

This is the fourth level in a six-level Program Administration classification series devoted to the highest level of paraprofessional program support in a specifically assigned area where significant and specific program knowledge is required in human resources.

- Performs administrative work related to recruitment, benefits, employment services, Human Resources information systems (HRIS), leave administration, classification/compensation, employee engagement, and/or other related human resources areas.
- Works in collaboration with departments to oversee the recruitment process; prepares recruitment plans, creates job postings; evaluates applicant qualifications; compiles testing and interview materials; participates on interview panels; communicates with applicants and hiring managers; makes job offers; conducts new hire orientations, and collects and stores records.
- Maintains job descriptions, performs job classification analysis, and responds to and conducts salary and job market surveys.
- Reviews and processes various information, including employee-related requests and changes, benefit enrollments/changes, open enrollment, and wellness programs; compiles and evaluates benefit data and employee leave; and coordinates with payroll and other staff on deadlines.
- Maintains and updates employee records and databases.
- Coordinates program logistics or directly serves external customers as part of the program mission.
- Assists with developing operating policies and procedures.
- Assists customers by communicating policies and procedures, referrals, and problem-solving.
- Gathers, compiles, and maintains data.
- Performs basic analysis of needs and proposes solutions.
- Participates in the budget and procurement processes, as assigned.
- Prepares reports, correspondence, and documents using independent research.
- Makes business math computations and verifies the accuracy of computations made by others, as assigned.

Type of Work:
