The Highlands of Elgin Golf Course
Highlands of Elgin has become a premier destination for thousands of golfers throughout the region. Nine new holes reclaim an old stone quarry, and take maximum advantage of the unique and dramatic landforms that were left behind, including a twelve acre quarry lake.
Wing Park Golf Course
A classic 9-hole golf course perfect for any level golfer who wants to get in a quick round.
This position will enforces all course rules and regulations at one of the City of Elgin golf courses.
GENERAL DEFINITION AND CONDITIONS OF WORK
- Directs golfers in the proper manner of play and in accordance with reserved tee times

Maintains accurate patron information (names, golf car numbers etc)

Assist Ranger and Driving Range Attendant as necessary

Work closely with the course Ranger in maintaining proper pace of play

Inform patrons of daily course restrictions and direct as necessary
- Perform duties as directed by the Golf Professional
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and patrons

Able to work in a fast paced environment

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends or Holidays

Customer service oriented individual

Able to lift 20 lbs on a regular basis
- Knowledge of golf helpful; Minimum of 21 years of age.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hours: Varies; hours of golf operation, to include weekend and holiday hours. Approximately 25 to 35 hours per week during the golf season.
Season is from April to October
