the direction and supervision of the Sports Complex Crew Leader, the individual in this role
will be responsible for the upkeep of both the grounds and facilities. Duties may include
routine landscaping, field preparation, general maintenance, and assisting with the
cleanliness and functionality of the complex. This position is ideal for someone who takes

- Set up and perform daily maintenance of ballfields, including base installation, dragging, and lining. Additional tasks include watering fields on dry days, removing excess water and rain, and applying drying agents when necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure proper
functionality. - Weed and mulch shrub beds and trees, as well as maintain turf areas to uphold the
Conduct regular litter pickup and empty trash receptacles to maintain cleanliness
throughout the facility. - Unlock and secure the facility on weekends as required.
- Maintain a strong focus on public relations by engaging courteously with park patrons,
upholding a professional demeanor, and wearing the designated daily uniform. - Report any maintenance concerns, whether identified personally or suggested by
patrons, to the Sports Complex Crew Leader. - Attend all mandatory staff training sessions and ongoing team meetings relevant to the
position. - Oversee facility upkeep, including the daily cleaning and maintenance of restrooms.
- Assist the forestry staff with ground operations related to tree removal, trimming, stump
grinding, tree planting, and parkway restoration for City-maintained right-of-way trees
and properties. - Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall maintenance and operations of
the Sports Complex.
- Must have the physical endurance to work in various weather conditions and the
strength to lift, carry, and pull a range of tools, equipment, and materials. The role
requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching, as well as working in dusty and
noisy environments. - Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Experience with small engines and riding equipment is preferred.
- Seeking a responsible individual with an interest in working outdoors.
- Must be dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
