What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Boat Launch Attendant position at City of Ellsworth?
The City of Ellsworth is seeking mature and responsible people to perform boat inspections at the City managed Branch Lake & Green Lake boat ramps. These inspections help prevent the infestation of invasive plants & animals in Ellsworth’s drinking water supply. Duties include inspection & cleaning of boats, trailers and other related equipment; distribution of educational information, oversight of the area, and record keeping. State of Maine Courtesy Boat Inspector certification and invasive plant identification training is a plus, but not required. Retirees & students are encouraged to apply. These are seasonal positions, hours are flexible, with weekday and weekend shifts. Pay is $16.50 per hour.
