POSITION SUMMARY
Seeking individuals for seasonal employments 20 hours at the Englewood Farm & Train. Manages the daily supervision and care of animals and farm operations. Positive attitude; innovative and creative; flexible and versatile; able to work well in a team oriented, fast paced, changing environment, strong human relations and communication skills; quality and customer service oriented; forward focus and highly motivated. Requires excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The listed examples or work are not intended to be all-inclusive. They establish a flexible, functional base from which the person operates. They may also be modified with additions; deletions or changes required obtaining organizational goals and objectives. Duties include but not limited to:
- Process transactions for the Englewood Farm & Train
- Performs responsible farm/train duties to assure the safety and welfare of our guests and animals
- Duties include purchasing supplies, animal food, feeding, cleaning of pens and habitats
- Manage and purchase the concession inventory, as well as point of sale and cash handling
- Assist with the responsibility of following and enforcing protocols and safety procedures
- Establishes the staff's work schedule to assure proper staff coverage and animal care
- Applies mature judgment and works harmoniously with other employees and general public
- Provides positive customer service to guests using our facility or enrolled in our programs
- Supervises and assists with point of sale operations, ranging from opening to closing and created reports associated with these tasks
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- Assists with acquiring of animals and the contacts associated with individual owners
- Attends and assists with required trainings
- Ensures farm/train area is clean and free of hazards
- Records daily, weekly, monthly logs as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must be 18 years old
- Must pass background check
- Previous experience in the caretaking of farm animals is
- Must be able to have one-year experience in related
- CPR and First Aid certified
- An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant job experience is

HOURLY RATE
$15.46 - $23.2/Hourly Rate
Anticipated starting rate of $16.66 - $18.91.
