Under supervision of the Tourism and Downtown Logistics Manager, This position will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Bluebonnet Market. Responsibilities include but are not limited to working with Bluebonnet Market vendors, city departments, non-profit and civic organizations, and contractors.Part Time hours may vary depending on the seasons: Some Saturdays, starting April through October 6:00am-1:00pm.Additional hours will be available during festival and special event seasons.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Communicates weekly maps and relevant information to Bluebonnet Market vendors.Maintains inventory control of Bluebonnet Market equipment.Recruits, coordinates, promotes, and operates the Bluebonnet Market and vendors; including Mornings With Minnie, Make it at the Market, and Big Dreams Little Tables.Maintains records of sales attendance and vendor contact information.Communicates any and all activities to the Marketing Coordinator for Social Media.Must be on site and place street closure notices 72 hours prior to Bluebonnet Market. Has frequent contact with employees, citizens, local state, federal agencies, and other city departments.Ability to arrive to work on time and must maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance.Performs other duties as assigned
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
High school graduate or equivalent; ORAny equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
