Brief Description
The Finance Manager works directly under the supervision of the Finance Director and is responsible for overseeing the creation, implementation, and maintenance of various city budgets. This position requires a strong background in government finance and budgeting and advanced analytical skills. The Finance Manager will play a key role in developing City budgets, managing budget amendments, and establishing performance measures aligned with departmental goals and objectives.
Education, Experience, Certification Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Three (3) year’s experience working in a government or public sector finance role.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
A Valid Class C Texas driver's license and the ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record.
