Job Description
The City of Etna is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pool Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our swimming facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons, while also providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive aquatic experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of temporary staff, including lifeguards and swim instructors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as city policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement programs to promote water safety and awareness among pool users.
- Manage pool maintenance and upkeep, including chemical treatment and equipment maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patrons, and city officials to ensure smooth operation of the facility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Current certification in CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- A valid California driver's license.
