What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at City of Fairfield, CT?
Summer Camp Counselors assists the Recreation Department in the daily activities of the Summer Camp Programs at various locations in the Town of Fairfield.
- Responsible for supervising, organizing and participating in daily activities with a group of children at the playground site and while off site on any trips or scheduled activities
- Planning and programming daily games and activities for the children assigned to your care,
- Ensure that all children follow rules and policies on site.
- Undertaking proper emergency procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Must have creativity, enthusiastic, have limitless energy and have comprehensive knowledge of games and activities.
- Must be able to follow directions, schedules, be organized and interact well with other counselors, supervisors, parents and children.
- Must by 16 years or older.
