Description
City of Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department is looking for a talented instructors / teacher to lead a Kid’s Pottery Class on Tuesday evenings, at the Community Arts Center.
Classes will be dependent on enrollment.
Examples of Duties
Instructors will be responsible for the following:
- Create, plan and deliver engaging and appropriate lesson plans under the direction of the Arts & Education Programmer.
- Creating supply lists and manage inventory.
- Set-up and clean-up of classroom / teaching space.
- Assist with program recruitment.
- Health & Safety reporting.
Typical Qualifications
Formal teaching experience is required.
Knowledge and experience in the pottery.
Must possess effective oral and written communications skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen.
