JOB DUTIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Works under the Administrative supervision of the Administrative Coordinator - Pools. Working locations include Farmington Aquatic Center, Bisti Bay Waterpark, Lions Pool, and the beach at Lake Farmington.
Using excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the general public.
Responsible for receiving money and operating cash register.
Performs administrative bookkeeping duties.
Assists in insuring daily revenue close outs are completed and balanced.
Responsible for participant registration of various aquatic activities.
Assists in developing the brochure.
Assists Administrative Coordinator with scheduling and training of new front desk employees.
Responsible for participant registration of various aquatic activities.
Performs custodial and cleaning duties of pool facility such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and buffing floors.
May perform a variety of miscellaneous receptionist duties such as greeting customers, answering phone, collecting fees, running errands, picking up supplies needed for activities, making arrangements for use of pool, helping set up for classes, events, etc.
Assists and responds to public inquiries and complaints about aquatics programs made in person or by telephone.
May operate a motor vehicle to assist in carrying out the business of the department and the City.
Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position is subject to the City's Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Program. This includes: pre-employment testing, post-accident testing, reasonable suspicion testing, return-to-duty testing, and follow-up testing.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and be able to interact with patrons in a pleasant and positive manner.
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Preferred valid license with acceptable driving record for the past three years or state of current residency.
Considerable knowledge of administrative office skills with experience in typing, computer, calculator, telephone and related office machines.
Knowledge of administrative bookkeeping procedures.
Must have ability to work a varied shift including weekends and holidays.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, participants and the administrative public.
Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment.
Must have knowledge and understanding of aquatic programming or ability to obtain such.
Extensive background checks required.
This position has the responsibility to participate in and comply with the City's Environmental, Health, and Safety program.
