What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks Maintenance Worker position at City of Farmington?
The City of Farmington is currently accepting applications for a Parks Maintenance Specialist. Typical duties include: general facility maintenance and cleaning, turf and lawn maintenance and site preparation for Parks and Recreation Department events and programs.
This position requires a general knowledge of maintenance and janitorial activities as well as the ability to operate and maintain various hand tools and machinery. Applicant must have a valid Missouri Class E Driver’s License. A Missouri Class A Commercial Driver’s License is required within 12 months of employment. Some overtime, weekend and evening work may be required.
Starting pay is $16.40 per hour with an excellent benefit package. Pay will increase to $16.91 per hour upon successful completion of the 6-month probationary period.
