The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for Water Safety Instructors to perform responsible, professional, specialized work as it pertains to public safety and recreation in enforcing rules and regulations, and preventing injuries at a City of Fayetteville aquatics facility; to facilitate instruction in youth and adult swim lessons while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the public.
Qualified applicants must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Currently possess the following American Red Cross certification:
- American Red Cross WSI (Water Safety Instructor) certification; and
- Ability to obtain CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer within 120 days of employment

From the time of closing, the selection process is anticipated to last approximately 4 - 6 weeks. The process will consist of a panel interview with the selected candidate being subject to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
