What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sign Fabricator I position at City of Florence?

High School diploma or GED- Valid South Carolina driver’s license
Must be able to perform skilled work in fabrication, installation, and maintenance of street signs. This position installs pavement markings, patrol city streets to determine sign maintenance needs, monitors streetlights city-wide, and operates sign fabrication equipment. This position also performs general maintenance and housekeeping type work to include, but not limited to weed eating, mowing, pruning, trimming and other activities to meet organizational objectives. Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions such as extreme heat and cold, rain, noise, wind, and pollen. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed. Must perform all work in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations, permits, and/or standards of quality and safety.
