Description
Rate: $18/hour Contract with the City of Florissant.
Swim Lesson Classes
Preschool and youth swim option
Potentially more classes like adult swim could be added.
Dates: 6/3/2024-7/31/2024
Hours: Every Monday/Wednesday at Koch Park at 10:10-11:25
Job Duties:
• Instructs swimming lessons in accordance with City of Florissant guidelines.
• Follow lesson plans and create new material as needed.
• Develops and maintains a positive relationship with all participants including parents, children, and staff.
• Follows provided schedule.
• Maintains records as required (attendance etc.).
• Follows all City of Florissant policies and rules, and ensures all participants are following safety guidelines as well.
• Organizes and puts away equipment.

Requirements
- Must be willing to go through a background check. .
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be able to demonstrate swimming skills
- Enjoys teaching and working with children ages 3 – 12 years
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to work in the water for the duration of the lessons.
Salary : $18
