- Strategic Leadership & Planning: Lead all operations with a focus on operational excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance under FAR Part 139.
- Financial Management: Oversee the airport's budget, including the preparation of the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), manage revenue streams, and ensure financial health.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison to federal, state, and local officials, airlines, and the community to advocate for the airport’s growth and sustainability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to FAA standards and maintain all necessary airport certifications and security programs.
- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety protocols, and manage long-term development projects such as building improvements and airfield maintenance.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor airport staff, ensuring a supportive, team-oriented environment, while providing ongoing training, performance reviews, and professional development.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business administration, public administration, or a related field with 5 years of progressively responsible experience in airport management, including working with FAA grants and compliance.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of FAA standards, aviation laws, project management, and strategic planning.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in budgeting, financial oversight, and grants administration.
