What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS position at City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida?
Assists with the administrative, managerial, and operational aspects of the Department of Resilience and Public Works. Assists in the maintenance operation which may involve the overall department. Assists in the preparation of the department’s budget and long-range planning. Represents the department at interdepartmental meetings between City and County agencies. Administers daily operational and supervisory functions. Reports to the Director of Public Works, or designee.
Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree
Extensive eight (8) years responsible design, engineering, architectural, administrative, management or other public works experience.
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience beyond a bachelor’s degree.

To qualify under the equivalency clause, applicant must provide proof of education in one or more of the following applicable forms: copy of high school diploma, or equivalent, OR any higher accredited degree such as an Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's degree or higher.

An accredited four-year college or university in the United States, OR
A current member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), OR

Salary : $108,000 - $225,000
