What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cart Attendant position at City of Fort Lupton?
Starting pay range for position: $14.81-$15.50 per hour
This position requires nights and weekends for 20 to 30 hours per week
Under the supervision of the General Manager, assists in providing pro shop and related services.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Keep carts cleaned and in proper rotation to and from cart storage area.
- Keep cart staging area orderly in regards to proper parking of carts.
- Responsible to document when carts need maintenance.
- As directed, clean balls, load machine and pick up baskets.
- Book advanced tee-time requests with point of sale computer system.
- Insure orderly flow for starting times and play on golf course. Slow groups need to be advised of position on course in a courteous manner.
- Record cart number for each group's play. Be sure they are directed to appropriate tee five minutes before scheduled game.
- Provide friendly and professional atmosphere at all times for guests.
- Sell tokens for range balls using a computerized point of sale system.
- Book golf lessons for the teaching staff.
- Promote and sell merchandise items such as balls, gloves, tees, and clubs.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Minimum age 21.
- Must have ability to operate cash register and computers.
- Good customer service skills required.
- Previous golf experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must have a valid Colorado driver's license.
- Must have current CPR/FA Certification.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- No supervisory responsibility.

- Contacts with the public or employees within the organization in the interest of cooperative work accomplishment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may work in elevated areas. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
