Starting pay range for position: $14.81-$15.50 per hour
Under the supervision of the Food and Beverage Manager, provides exceptional customer service and provision of drinks and food service on the Coyote Creek at Fort Lupton Golf Course grounds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Provides excellent customer service.
• Performs a variety of duties associated with the provision of food and beverage service to golfers.
• Serves food and beverage items to customers at bar, dining room and patio
• Able to make common mixed drinks and serve alcohol as requested by customer
• Operates the cash register and/or cash drawer.
• Cooks and prepares all foods for Coyote Creek Golf Course using established recipes as needed
• Has thorough knowledge of menu contents, daily specials, and basic preparation of each
• Operates ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers, etc.
• Responsible for the quality control and presentation of all foods served
• Keeps equipment, kitchen, food prep areas, counters, stoves, ovens, coolers, and freezers clean and sanitary at all times
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
• Washes dishes
• Cleans up tables and bar counter; vacuums the dining room area and sweeps/mops the kitchen
• Assists to ensure that all deliveries are properly received, stocked and rotated
• Reports hazards and maintenance needs for the kitchen to the appropriate personnel
• Performs such other duties as may be assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum age 21.
- Must have knowledge of golf etiquette, exceptional customer service skills and great communication skills.
- Six (6) months of food and beverage serving experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate commitment to quality food and beverage service.
- Previous golf cart operation experience preferred.
- A valid Colorado driver's license
- Able to pass Tips Certification & Food safety online class upon hire
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- No supervisory responsibility.
- Contacts with the public or employees within the organization in the interest of cooperative work accomplishment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; climb or balance; and stoop and kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds (independently). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to moderate. Ninety percent (90%) of the work is performed outside and in varying weather conditions from hot to cold.
