What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Maintenance Tech position at CITY OF FRANKFORT KY?
Under the Park Supervisor’s direction, the Maintenance Tech is responsible for general maintenance of the parks and park facilities.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Mowing (zero-turn, walk-behind, push mower)
- Trimming (weed-eater)
- Trash Pick-up
- Turf Maintenance
- Ball Field Prep & Maintenance
- Pressure Washing
- Painting
- Cleaning Restrooms and Facilities
- Landscaping
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is typically performed outside, sometimes in difficult weather conditions (e.g. heat, cold, rain, etc.). Works in close proximity to chemicals and chemical products. Must be able to traverse all parts of park grounds, including uneven terrain. Must be able to lift heavy objects; bags of fertilizer, seed, ball field materials, etc.
