Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate inventory of rental equipment (boats, motors, safety gear, etc.) and items for resale
- Ensure the marina is safe and clean at all times
- Conduct sales and rental transactions using cash and/or credit
- Verify customer identification and assist customers as needed
- Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the marina operating smoothly
- Schedules, trains, and directly supervises staff. Work hours are typically outside of the hours of those of a direct supervisor
- High school diploma or GED is required
- One (1) year of related work experience and/or equivalent education/experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisory staff, and customers
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Criminal background and driving record checks are required
