What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Lifeguard (Seasonal) position at City of Fremont?
Under close supervision of the Aquatics Supervisor, this person performs professional duties ensuring effective performance of lifeguard functions. Assists in training, scheduling and evaluating lifeguards. Ensures that all lifeguards are fully competent in performing water rescue procedures and ensures the safety of patrons in and around the pools and monitoring swimmers and to enforce all safety rules.
Must be American Red Cross certified in Lifeguarding; First-Aid; CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; WSI preferred and must hold a Nebraska Certified Pool Operator certificate.
Minimum of 40 hours per week.
Must be at least 16 years of age by May 15, 2025 to apply. Position begins mid-May and ends mid-August.
Pools are scheduled to open Memorial Day, May 26th, 2025.
$16.00 to $17.00 per hour
