SUMMARY:
The Wastewater Operator position performs a variety of skilled technical duties and semi-skilled labor in the operation and maintenance of the City's 2.33 MGD treatment facility. This 2.33 MGD facility utilizes a sophisticated BNR process with ATAD Solids Handling and relies on a team approach where operators are an integral part of all aspects of the facility operations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to obtain a Class “D”, or higher, Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification through the State of Colorado within 6 months of hire. Candidate of all experience levels are eligible. Individuals with education/experience in natural sciences, skilled labor trades, or other related fields are encouraged to apply.
