Description
To perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in and around the golf facilities. Performs routine tasks and duties assigned under close supervision. Performs a wide variety of general clerical and maintenance duties and provides professional, effective and efficient service assistance to department and the public.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential Duties:
- General maintenance and cleaning of the Golf Shop and surrounding areas
- General maintenance and cleaning of the Golf restroom facilities, using various chemicals to sanitize restroom facilities
- General maintenance and cleaning of the golf carts
- Assist in the collection and accounting of revenue related to Golf Shop operations

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of:
- Operation and use of a variety of tools and equipment
- Grounds maintenance
- Principles and procedures of collecting fees, and basic record keeping
- Basic mathematics as applied to bookkeeping
- Proper public contact
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Learn proper lifting techniques for minimizing physical injury
- Learn the operation of a variety of tools, machinery and equipment relevant to work assignments
- Perform physical requirements of the job
- Perform work in undesirable conditions including inclement weather
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- Work weekends and holidays as needed
