The City of Garden City has a job opportunity for a Water Operator Class II in the Wastewater Treatment Plant. This position is responsible for the successful operations of the drinking water plant and sanitary sewer collection systems, including maintenance of equipment, monitoring the treatment process, data collection, and lab procedures. A high school diploma or GED is required; (5) Five years of experience in water operations and facilities maintenance. Experience with process control and pertinent lab procedures; supervisory experience is preferred.You will also be required to submit to a pre-employment physical, drug-screen, and criminal background investigation and a driving history report.
