Position: Land Quality Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the protection and conservation of land and water quality resources in accordance with solid waste, brownfields, and groundwater policies and program at the local, state and federal levels of government. The position also requires assisting the Department Director with implementation of policies and programs under the Office of Sustainability & Environmental Affairs in the areas of air, land and water quality. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Environmental Science or related studies, and/or equivalent experience working in the field of Compliance, Policy or Environmental Science. Certification in soil and water quality, solid waste, or pollution prevention is recommended. The Land Quality Manager should also be familiar by training or work experience with local, state, and federal environmental laws associated with soil and water. The position requires at least three years of experience in management and supervision in the environmental or related field.
