Position performs responsible work in the maintenance operation of the Museum. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Manager or Museum Security / Maintenance Manager.
Operating the mowing equipment, light utility & power equipment; opening, closing, securing area grounds; cleaning park grounds & restrooms; assists in pruning and landscaping trees, shrubs, & hedges; assists in repair, maintenance, & construction of ground structures and equipment; ; assists in keeping museum and outdoor areas clean and safe for patrons.
Ability to understand and follow written departmental policies and procedures; basic knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance; ability to work in a public environment; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

High School or EquivalentSome work experience in landscaping, building maintenance, , common trades. Experience working in a public environment.
