This position performs electrician functions in the programming and maintenance of SCADA systems and related utility equipment.
The SCADA Supervisor assigns work in terms of very general instructions. The supervisor spot-checks completed work for compliance with procedures and the nature and propriety of the final results.

SUPERVISORY AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
This position has functional supervision over assigned personnel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs process control systems, communications equipment, and electronic/electrical equipment.
- Designs, lays out, fabricates, and installs electrical control panels.
- Develops control drawings for new control panels and updates existing drawings.
- Troubleshoots and repairs electrical problems in a variety of department equipment.
- Programs and maintains programmable logic controllers.
- Installs and splices fiber optic cables.
- Operates a variety of electrical test equipment.
- Operates a backhoe, derrick, bucket truck, front-end loader, and other types of construction equipment.
- Maintains electrical schematics.
- Monitors, installs, calibrates, and repairs testing and metering equipment.
- Prepares and maintains documentation for all electrical facilities.
- Coordinates installations with customers.
- Maintains parts and supply inventory; orders parts as needed.
- Performs calibrations on process equipment to meet state and federal regulations.
- Responds to emergency situations, including after-hours emergencies when on call.
- Performs related duties.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, walking, bending or crouching. The employee frequently lifts light and heavy objects, climbs ladders, uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity, distinguishes between shades of color, and utilizes the sense of smell.
- The work is typically performed in an office, at water treatment facilities, and outdoors, occasionally in cold or inclement weather. The employee may be exposed to electrical currents, machinery with moving parts, contagious or infectious diseases, or irritating chemicals. Work requires the use of protective devices such as masks, goggles, gloves, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must maintain a Wyoming Journeyman Electrician license.
- May be required to obtain and maintain other licenses and/or certifications required to perform the functions of the position within a specified time period following employment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid State of Wyoming Class B Commercial Driver’s License within six (6) months of employment.
- May be required to lift and/or carry heavy, bulky supplies, materials, and/or other items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to work from an aerial lift device and climb and work on wood structures up to 100 feet in height.
- May be exposed to dangerous machinery, potential physical harm, extreme weather conditions, and infectious diseases.
- May be required to work outside the traditional work schedule.
- May be subject to call-out and/or call-back.
