Position Summary:
Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating a wide variety of art and leisure activities, educational programs, events and opportunities that enhance the quality of life for participants of all ages.
Essential Functions:
· Plan, develop, teach and implement a diverse range of high-quality art and leisure programing, including program content, marketing, budget, staffing, transportation, training, and facility requirements.
· Provide on-site program supervision, lead activities, and perform minor maintenance functions at various program locations.
· Cultivate program growth by establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with local organizations.
· Maintain comprehensive program records, including enrollment data, budget tracking, and recommendations for future enhancements.
· Conduct program evaluations and solicit feedback from participants and the community to ensure continuous improvement.
· Order, inventory, and manage the storage of appropriate program supplies.
· Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate subordinate staff; provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
· Teach classes, programs, and activities for various age groups from preschool to older adults.
· Oversee all aspects of Community Art Center programming, including contractor management, operations, maintenance, staffing, and scheduling.

Education, Training & Certifications:Necessary:
· Associate’s degree in a related field.
· One (1) year of supervisory experience.
· Three (3) years of experience working in this or a related field.
· Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
· Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/First Aid/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification.
· Valid Colorado State Driver’s License with a good driving record.
Desired:
· Bachelor's degree in Art, Recreation, or a related field.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Recreation related software.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish.
