Description
The RBT will provide direct one-on-one therapy to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while reducing problematic behaviors in the home, community, and school settings in a center-based environment. The RBT will utilize interventions developed out of the science of Applied Behavior Analysis and will work under the close supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Requirements
- RBT Certification (training is available)
- High school diploma or GED (Some college preferred, but not required)
- Experience working with the autism population (preferred) or with children
- Enjoy working with children
- Engaging and high energy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must pass a background check
- Strong organization skills and excellent time management
- Must immediately apply feedback
- Professional appearance
- Must be able to lift at least 20lbs
- Must be able to engage in physical activity throughout an 8hr shift
