About the Position:
The Waste Reduction Coordinator performs a variety of independently assigned tasks, to support and coordinate duties for waste reduction program and efforts. They will interact with customers, vendors, and the public on participation requirements and a variety of recycling topics, create and update a wide variety of content to include promotional materials, formal correspondence, technical documents, and educational and public relation publications. This role will develop, execute, and manage programs, services and special events related to recycling, and facilitate presentations to community groups, residents and businesses.
What You'll Do:
- Work with institutional and other clients in the development of waste reduction programs.
- Create and update a wide variety of content to include promotional materials, formal correspondence, technical documents, and educational and public relation publications.
- Provide documents and media updates to the communications department.
- Provide information required for grants, loans, and other local, state, and federal funding opportunities.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.

What We're Looking For:
- Two (2) years of increasingly responsible recycling and waste reduction experience, administrative support, and/or customer service experience.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado driver’s license.
Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
