- Coordinates recreation center programs, camps and other classes by scheduling classes and instructors; advertising classes; supervising classes, programs, camps and scheduling trips, and teaching classes; creating a monthly calendar of programs and activities.
- Assist in supervision of the facility by maintaining a safe environment for the public, supervising part-time and seasonal instructors in programs, camps, leagues or classes and communicating with your participants' parents.
- Performs office duties by maintaining report program worksheets daily; developing flyers, profit and loss reports; scheduling work hours for part-time employees; assisting in overseeing programs and reservation scheduling; inputting data into the computer;
- Assists the center supervisors in interacting with employees and the public, answering inquiries, addressing complaints and grievances, responding to emergency issues and assisting patrons.
- Provides customer service to internal and external customers by responding to requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Promotes public relations by speaking to schools, groups, organizations, parents, members and participants about programs and the needs of the community.
- Performs first aid, CPR or advanced lifesaving techniques as needed and maintains reports of incident and accidents that may occur.
- Monitors and inspects the facility; maintains inventory of equipment and supplies for the recreation center
Formal Education / Knowledge: Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Experience: One year of related experience
Certification and Other Requirements: CPR - First Aid, Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
Salary : $18 - $25
