\Job Description
\This position is responsible for receiving and processing emergency and non-emergency calls for service from the public, dispatching police units and other emergency services as needed, and providing accurate and timely information to callers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, and basic knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols.
\Key Responsibilities

- Process emergency and non-emergency calls for service from the public. \
- Dispatch police units and other emergency services as needed. \
- Provide accurate and timely information to callers. \
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to incidents and activities. \
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. \
- A high school diploma or equivalent. \
- One year of experience in a law enforcement or emergency services setting. \
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. \
- Basic knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols. \
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \
- Pass a thorough background investigation and polygraph examination. \
