Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all facilities are kept in optimal condition. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to provide excellent customer service while performing maintenance duties.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning.
• Conduct repairs in areas such as electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Execute residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of properties.
• Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or improvements.
• Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents, demonstrating strong customer service skills.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Proficient in English for effective communication with team members and customers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
• Ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks as required.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in residential painting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to maintenance challenges.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.

Pay: $16.92 - $17.69 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
