\Job Description and Requirements
\This position is responsible for receiving and processing emergency and non-emergency calls for service from the public, dispatching police units and other emergency services as needed, and providing accurate and timely information to callers. To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of experience in a law enforcement or emergency services setting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, basic knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and pass a thorough background investigation and polygraph examination.
