The City of Grandville seeks qualified individuals to fill the position of seasonal worker for both the Department of Public Works (DPW) and Clean Water Plant (CWP). Responsibilities include but are not limited to assignments related to maintenance, facilities, and park upkeep. Some flexible scheduling is available with up to 40 hours per week. The posting will remain open until filled. The ideal candidate would be available to start work between April and June.
General tasks at the DPW could include painting, mowing, cleaning, and playground/park upkeep, including cleaning of restrooms.
General tasks at the CWP could include painting, cleaning, helping the maintenance team, and completing small projects from start to finish.

Minimum Qualifications include: high school diploma (or equivalent), valid Michigan Driver’s License, ability to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and drug test
A qualified candidate will start at $15.00/hour. This position is not eligible for any benefits.
