The Associate Planner is responsible for management of land development proposals, research and writing of staff reports, drafting ordinances and resolutions, making presentations, interpreting policies and codes, and conducting design review. Our ideal candidate will be a dedicated team player with strong customer service and writing skills.
To meet the qualifications an applicant will have a bachelor's degree in city planning, community development or a related field and two years of government related land use planning experience are required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed in the job description.
This position will be in-person.
