What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Water Treatment Plant Trainee position at City of Grants Pass?
Hours of Work: This position will be required to work weekends, swing and/or graveyard shift or day shift for a training period of 30-45 days. Most likely days off will be weekdays.
The seasonal work period for this position will propose to run from mid-May to mid-October (not to exceed 150 days).

This position requires a valid driver's license and must be at least 18 years of age with an acceptable driving record that meets City policy.
The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of math and science and should be competent in the use of personal computers. Candidates will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled operations including laboratory analysis, basic equipment and grounds maintenance, cleaning of basins and filters and monitoring of plant processes through the use of personal computers. An understanding of pumps, motors and machines is desirable.
