We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate buses, motor coaches, vans, or paratransit vehicles according to scheduled routes.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers throughout their journey.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle by conducting pre-trip inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Follow all traffic regulations and company policies while driving.
- Communicate effectively in English with passengers and dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage or equipment as necessary.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred.
- Experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, limousine service, or similar roles is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices is a plus.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
- Previous experience in paratransit services is an advantage but not mandatory.
