General Description
Responsible for answering general questions from the public, providing customer service, Wildlife Sanctuary gift shop sales transactions, and general gift shop duties.
Examples of Duties
- Welcome visitors and respond to inquiries. Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to the proper department/staff.
- Process sales transactions for the Wildlife Sanctuary Gift Shop through our POS system.
- Opening gift shop at start of shift and securing at end of shift.
- Reconcile daily cash register sales, stock shelves, general organization, and cleaning.
- Monitor visitor behavior and interact with visitors as needed.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and the philosophy that is set forth by the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Course work in basic computer skills desirable.
- Experience operating a POS system including handling cash and credit transactions.
- Customer service experience desirable.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Ability to hold a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and possess reliable transportation that can be utilized for work purposes.
