What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Adult Softball Site Supervisor position at City of Green Bay?
Responsible for supervising and maintaining proper decorum and control of spectators and players and organizing games.
The season begins the first week of November and ends approximately in early March.
Games are played on Wednesdays.

Games are played on Wednesdays.
- Instructs, supervises, and assists referees and other personnel. Organizes teams for play. Lists game rosters and checks player eligibility. Officiates games as needed. Keeps official score and time for games.
- Assists in organizing and promoting the program.
- Prepares equipment and site for activities. Sets up, takes down, stores, and ensures proper use of equipment. Secures facility prior to leaving.
- Maintains safe conditions for patrons, spectators, and players through enforcing rules and regulations and utilizing proper supervision techniques. Enforces department rules and policies.
- Gathers all pertinent information regarding protests and informs appropriate personnel.
- Completes and turns in score sheets and incident report forms.
- Notifies participants of cancelations related to inclement weather.
- Follows all policies, procedures, and the philosophy that is set forth by the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience supervising staff.
- Experience in sporting event score keeping and timing desirable.
- Knowledge of various sporting games and recreation programming.
- Considerable skill in proper sporting event scorekeeping and timing techniques.
- Ability to plan, organize and direct activities, games, staff, and participants. Ability to maintain a positive public image and positive attitude. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to read and perform basic calculations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work the required hours of the position.

- Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, squatting, crouching, and kneeling.
