The Seasonal Worker is an entry level position, which performs a variety of tasks in the Division of Public Works. These available positions typically require a start time of 7:00 am and the ability to work primarily outside.

- Perform a number of additional duties including, but not limited to, basic building maintenance. Complete required documentation of related work orders and other tasks as assigned.
- Assist with activities relating to special event set up and clean up.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time seasonal position, with normal hours of 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. However, you must have the ability to work nights, weekends, overtime and odd hours when required; such as while scheduled on-call and during other special events or situations as they occur.

High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions ranging from extremely hot to moderate to extremely cold conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electric shock, wet and/or humid conditions, noxious odors, dust and poor ventilation. The noise level in the work environment is often loud. Occasionally an inside office environment with little to moderate noise.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Salary:
$16.00 per hour, no benefits.
