The Recycling Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing the automated single stream recycling program under the Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling (SWIFR) Grant . This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that the city's goals and services are well-understood by the community. Primary point of contact between the city and the public. The Recycling Outreach Coordinator performs highly responsible duties for administering the SWIFR grant recycling program, including but not limited to organizing events, setting up meetings, preparing and giving presentations and creating materials that promote the recycling program.
Minimum qualifications:
Associate's Degree in related field is preferred or supplemented by 1-3 years of equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the skills and ability required to perform the work.
Must have valid Class D Driver's license and have an acceptable driving record and be insurable under city's policy and occasional use of personal vehicle. Must successfully pass CORI/SORI checks; Ability to work weekends and evenings when necessary for community events.
Salary $37,731.00 - $48,300.00
