Compensation and Benefits:
Hiring Salary Range: $40,609.00 - $42,233.00 Full Salary Range: $40,609. - $57,437. Annually

Monday-Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

About the Role
As an Assistant Customer Service Cashier, you will:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with processing payments for water bills, parking tickets, and other city fees.
- Accurately post payments using advanced software systems and maintain a balanced cash drawer daily.
- Sort and process mail payments, including the operation of automated mail-opening equipment.
- Provide courteous, efficient service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism during busy periods.
- Rotate between two payment collection locations to meet operational needs.
- This position is hands-on and requires adaptability, precision, and a dedication to exceptional customer service.
- A 10-key calculator assessment will be part of the selection process.
- This role is classified as non-exempt under FSLA guidelines.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 1 years of bank/credit union teller or utility cashier experience
- 2 years of lead cashier or cashier supervisor experience
- Experience using 10-key calculator
- Cash handling experience
An Ideal Candidate Would Also Possess (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with iNovah Cashier Software
- Experience with enQuesta Utility Software
- Experience with Microsoft Office and/or comparable applications
