Hiring Salary Range: $65,532 - $86,226 Full Salary Range: $65,532 - $117,267 Annually, depending on qualifications.

About the Role:
The Community Development Analyst will:
- Manage housing programs, including homebuyer down payment assistance and long-term mortgage counseling.
- Administer Requests for Proposal (RFP) processes for housing-related projects.
- Oversee the department’s loan portfolio, ensuring daily upkeep and compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Budget and manage homebuyer assistance programs using Housing Bond funds, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds.
- Develop and implement strategies for affordable homeownership creation and sustainability.
- Contribute to the implementation of the City’s 10-Year Affordable Housing Plan (“Housing GSO”).
- Explore and establish new programs to support long-term homeownership in Greensboro.
This job is Exempt and is not subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree with 4-6 years of professional work experience in housing and community development.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or higher in real estate development and finance, public administration, planning, business, or a closely related field.
- Experience with homebuyer deal structures and project underwriting.
- Professional work experience in affordable housing finance.
- Familiarity/experience with Federal, State, and local funding streams, including Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME programs.
