Compensation and Benefits:
Hiring Salary Range: $40,609 - $42,233 Full Salary Range: $40,609 - $57,437 Annually, depending on qualifications.

About the Role:
This Crew Member position is responsible for performing general maintenance on the City's streets infrastructure. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operating job-specific equipment, such as single axle and tandem axle dump trucks.
- Laying asphalt, pouring concrete, and maintaining shoulders and ditches.
- Shoveling, raking, and luting asphalt as well as cleaning and pulling ditches and shoulders.
- Driving a truck and operating equipment during the snow and ice removal program and loose leaf collection program.
- Working in and around traffic and heavy equipment.
This role requires adaptability, as employees must be available to work flexible schedules during emergencies, including weekends, nights, and holidays. This position involves physically demanding tasks such as standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven surfaces, shoveling, and lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs). Crew Members are also expected to participate in the snow and ice removal program, which may require 12-hour shifts during winter or other weather-related events. Must obtain a Commercial Driver's Permit within 30 days of employment and a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with Tanker Endorsement within 120 days. What You Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with less than 1 year of experience or training in asphalt maintenance or construction.
- “OR” No High School Diploma / GED with 1 year of experience or training in asphalt maintenance or construction
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating commercial vehicles and/or equipment.
- Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License.
- Tanker Endorsement.
