Work Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm; occasional weekends and evenings based on program demands. Work may also include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

About the Role :
As a Facilities Coordinator, you will provide essential leadership and support to our community recreation centers, programming staff, and core programs. You will be responsible for the overall management, operations, and programming of a group of community recreation centers, ensuring high-quality services for people of all ages and abilities.
Essential Functions of the position but not limited to :
- Manage and supervise the staff and operations of community recreation centers and core programs, increasing facility utilization and providing diverse recreational opportunities.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective facility operations, conducting evaluations and addressing safety and risk management issues.
- Participate in departmental work teams, represent the department at community events, and collaborate with other sections, departments, and organizations.
- Stay current with developments in the field through professional memberships, conferences, and networking.
Additional Information :
The individual will be required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as dictated by program and facility needs and maintain a reliable means of communication (i.e., home or cellular phone) for call-back purposes, and / or emergency situations. The individual in this position may be required to work during periods of inclement weather to ensure that service delivery continues uninterrupted. Work requires the ability to perform the physical duties of this job, which includes lifting up to 50lbs. The individual in the position may be assigned to assist with other program areas as program demands dictate.
This job is Exempt and is not subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards.
